This is indeed a genuine Chase Secure phone number for international payment validation (as of 2024-10-18) which was verified by calling Chase's US customer service line, where they were able to do a reverse lookup. That said, as others have pointed out, it seems to be actively used as a spoofed source on caller ID. Stay frosty, my friends.

calls from this number are seemingly spoofed, Calling the number back gives you the chase visa fraud department or something. I don't have a chase visa.
What a worry! My greatest bother is why the person who gives the calls gets mad when I query about what is his purpose. After all they are telephoning me and not we calling them. I sat and thought of noting the telephone records to observe how the cell calls have come in. I am mystified as I am still not aware of the reason for the phone calls. My colleague makes fun of me and comments that the person who keeps phoning is obsessed with my voice. I told her it is no fun to be dealing with a creep.
Caller identified themselves as Disney Rewards and gave last 4 digits of my account number. It was supposedly about potential fraud but the last time this happened I received an automated call.
They left a message stating they were from the Fraud Division of Chase Credit Card Company. They instructed me to have my Chase credit card numbers available when I returned their phone call. Yeah Right!
They called me yesterday at 2 diff numbers and said they were Chase Fraud and that I had unotherized charges. Said if I gave them card number they would issue a new card. Must be a big operation.
I received the same call from this number.I then called Chase at the number on the back of my card.They did verify it was them and that I had a fraud alert on my card.This time it was legit

Claims to be from a roofing team. Somehow knows real name and city. I keep getting texts like this from different numbers, they stop responding when I ask how they have my number.
