Got called by that number. A recorded said, "While you were away this message was left for you" then proceeded to pitch some Pizza Hut deal to me.IT'S BULL$HIT!!!! And it just called again, while I was typing!!!
Today I came home to find that I had missed a phone number twice, 1-800-679-0847 BSC I called to see who it was and for what, and I was told that I was on the DNC list, the do not call list, asked me to enter my phone number. Which I didn't do and won't do. Some calls I got a while back were from Skykomish. Isn't there a way to get rid of this annoyance?
Robo-call, saying "Press 1 for an Emergency Message". I pressed 1 and the line went dead, so I couldn't find out what kind of scam they're running.
I got a call while at work and message was left in my voicemail, supposedly the scrooge in an automated message offering to save schilling on tickets to see a play "A Christmas Carol". All they needed is the credit card information at www.vastage.com or to call 757-627-1234.
I was able to call this back and it gave me the option to remove my number from the list. Went ahead and tried it - we'll see what happens.
Got a call today around 1pm, didn't answer but they left a voicemail - it was a pre-recorded message advertising theatre tickets as Christmas gifts (Theatre Calgary, in Alberta).
5th Avenue Theater in Seattle uses this number to send a pre-recorded message asking for donations.

called and then hung up, left him a kurt voicemail about wasting peoples time. scammers are prevalent, be careful and don't answer this call

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
