PenFed Credit Card Fraud Division!Answer it! These guys are on the ball...stopped a fraudulent charge on my card within minutes!

Legitimate number: PenFed fraud: made 3 transactions in a row, they called within minutes and had my last 5 transactions for confirmation. They ask for last 4 of SS but were able to list all transactions to the penny and type of store.

Had two missed calls from this number. They never left a message. After the second call I Googled it and saw from this website it was PenFed CC Fraud dept. I called the number back and one of the first questions asked referenced the message they left....but there was no message. I went ahead and moved forward answering the automated questions and it was in fact a legitimate call.

Absolutely legitimate. It is Pentagon Federal Credit Union Credit Card Fraud department. I didn't pick up when they called and the message they left was cut off. When I googled the number and saw that it was from PenFed's Credit Card Fraud department, I called them back. They found a suspicious transaction on my credit card and wanted to check with me if it was legitimate. It was fraudulent. Good thing I called them back.

Penfed's fraud department. These guys are way too paranoid. They should approve legitimate transactions without hassles.
