The people calling you are criminals. They use spoof technology where they can use any number to call you. They have information about you and need more to gain access to what they want. Don't answer, you might get an automated voice mail to call another number. Do not call! If you were scammed, you took the bait. Report the number to your local police and the FCC online.

Earlier I received a call from someone reporting to be Apple saying my I Tune account had been hacked. I called this number which according to an online advertisement was an Apple number. I gave them access to my computer and they stole everything I had on it and more since they tricked me into giving them additional information.

Same thing happened to me. I got slammed for 100 USD through PayPal. I complained to PayPal and I received email from them today that said the charge was legit. I lost the money with nothing in return.

Same thing happened. THey called multiple times to my landline left message. Then I picked up when I got home and I was suspicious and told them they were hackers but they managed to convince they werent. ANyway they managed to get into my computer then they send me several codes via text that I gave, all the time saying to them they were hackers and they kept assuring that they werent until they hung up on me and saw all the information in my computer being stolen in front of my eyes.

The gentlemen knew my parents name and informed me that my dads account was hacked overseas by someone in China & Russia, his name was Peter and he wanted me to go on their computer so he could remove the hackers trying to access their iCloud. I told him it sounded like a scam, he told me to google the company, when I told him we wouldn’t have access to a computer for about an hour he gave me the 8006947466 to call, and then insisted that he would call me back in 45 minutes. This is so believable and troubling because my parents are older and they probably would fall for this scenario. Sometimes the caller ID reads Apple INC. I have blocked a few numbers, but they continually call with different numbers. When I called back the number on the caller ID, it was the Apple store at a mall and the automated message stated that there were scammers trying to access customers accounts and they were not from Apple and to not give any important information or access to anything. Isn’t it sad that we can no longer trust phone callers. What a sad future we have.
