My phone number is listed under my maiden name, but I had a very odd call the other day. I was myself calling myself? I was on the other line and MY name showed on my caller ID along with MY land line number? I have no clue what that was all about?

Every day about the same time. I get a call from 800 service. No one answers when I pick up. It's annoying. How cann I stop them from calling

We've been getting calles from "800 Service" for years. We were blocking them through Comcast, but they keep changing their number, and the 12 slots provided by Comcast are not enough. Early this year we got a new phone that also does blocking, with 500 slots, so each time 800 Service calls, we add the new number to the phone's list. That usually takes care of them for 2-3 months until they change their number again. If they want to waste money on new numbers trying to reach us, I say go ahead! We can keep blocking them for a long time to come!

I say hello and they won't say who they are.
