They had the nerve to call my parents house who are not even listed anywhere on anything I filled out and I have not lived there since approx. 16 or 17....yeah, I am 35 now!! Yes, I owe them money but isn't it against the law to give out that information to anyone else? I took out the loan and was layed off. I will pay back as soon as possible but these people are RUDE and NASTY!!
Someone at extension #3389 asked me to call back regarding a check, and also had the nerve to call and leave a voicemail on my mom's cell phone, and she isn't anywhere listed on my information. I am going thru a divorce and things are getting nasty. Now I have the pleasure of explaining to my mother what is going on. They only called me once, and called her the same day they called me, but being I was at work, I couldn't pick up my cell. When I went to call them over my lunch hour, no one ever picks up or is available to talk to you. I want to resolve it, but don't call people looking for me and be available to answer if I call back!!! So irritating.
Received a call to call back to this number. Used wrong last name, asked for last four of social.
Received call from this number, on my cell phone asking for "Carlos England" not me or anyone I know. I am in the collection/fraud business and what I have found out is that this place is a collection agency for anybody and everybody. Hospitals, doctors, cash advance, loan services, chck services etc. The deal is that when you apply for credit and the creditor asks for the contact information of a friend or relative, they are setting up avenues in which to shame you into paying. My guess is that someone made up the name and my phone number to get the refernce.
called a few times did not say who he was, he just left his ext# and phone # to call him back. I have tried several times to call him, but he never answers. You would think if they wanted to make payment arrangements they would answer the phone.
Alecia at x3948 called my friend, KB, from "some financial institution" RE: "important personal business"
Cashland -- collections.I MADE payment arrangements for a specific date. They then called me back threatening to send it into further collections, come to find out there was an error in the paperwork. Settled that. Payment arrangements were confirmed. THEN, I get a call TODAY saying they're threatening to call Human Resources at my current job to get their money. Mind you, the payment arrangements HAVE ALREADY BEEN MADE. These people are terrible, nasty, rude, and obnoxious.
Jerry called me from that number. He was rude and actually threatened to "make things bad" for me. I tried to explain my situation to him, that I am facing homelessness, but he continued to dog me. He talked to me so bad that I hung the phone up in his ear. The next day, he left a message on the voicemail of one of my relatives for me to call him. You can prevent these harrassing phone calls by sending a cease and desist letter. Then they can only communicate with you by mail only.
I was told by someone at work that this number had called for me with extension #3147. When I called back the voice-mail was for one 'Patrick Bateman,' which is the main character from American Psycho. I immediately assumed it was a prank. I looked the number up online and found this site. The problem is now, if you folks are correct, that I've never been to a Cashland, ever. They might as well rename that gyp-joint 'Schmuckmart.' I only cash checks at my bank or the bank that the check is issued from. Any advice before Patrick Bateman tries to feed me to an ATM machine for money I don't owe them?
