If you call Sprint, they can ask you for your password or the answer to your security question to access your account. However, if they call you, they can't ask for that information. You were right not to give it to them because it wasn't Sprint calling; it was a scammer posing as Sprint.
If you have sprint, you don't need them to block a call for you. Simply go to MySprint, select preferences, select block voice, block text, etc and type in unwanted number. Number will stay permanently blocked until you delete the number. I do this with about 50 numbers a month and have been doing it for several yrs. You gotta get through the first call (don't answer it), so you can block the second. Takes a couple of minutes and you'll NEVER hear from the number again. Tip: set your phone book contacts with a ring tone other than default, then you'll know when the default ring tone goes off, it's an outside call. Don't answer. If the outside call leaves a voice message (most do), just delete it and do the blocking procedure above. By the way, nearly all service providers have a way to block incoming calls, whether voice or text.
They called once at 00:00 and once during dinner so probably important but didnt't leave a message.
got call. didnt answer. no message left. I am not waisting my time picking up call like this.
I don’t believe this is really Sprint. A woman with a thick accent first said the call was about my satisfaction with their customer service butquickly moved on to tell me she’s with sales and is calling to tell me I’m eligible for an upgrade on my iPhone 6; I told her I had a 7 at which time she stated that it was registered as a 6, which makes no sense (I never owned the 6 and I’m certain I have a 7). I fell for it at first but then figured out it was not Sprint when she read the incorrect email address and kept asking repeatedly for the answers to my security question—which was not a security question I would ever pick.
Been a Sprint customer for almost 13 years. Not any longer. Will be changing carriers because I do not want to do business with a company that makes unsolicited Sales calsl to my cell phone!
Stupid foreign guy call me says he be from sprint with a great up-graded offer for a new iPhone and line. I tell the gerk that he should get a life, work for a real company, or get a real job! I hate sprint service. Had it before....NEVER AGAIN! Figure it out SPRINT, DON'T OUTSOURCE 3RD party foreign speaking telemarketing callers.
It’s gotta be tele sales. I’m a customer of sprint, and I’ve had this number for over 5 years, and my bill is current...so doubtful they’re calling for someone else, or calling about my bill (at least collection speaking).
