This was American Home Shield calling to verify my service request had been completed to my satisfaction. I had originally called to report a claim on my whole home warranty. Perfectly legitimate phone call.

They sell home repair warranties. Do a Google search on them. Many many complaints about how their service people break appliances like your A/C and then try to sell you something at twice the price you can get it elsewhere. Don't fall for the "nice people" routine. Those are from shills. This is a scam!

24 years with AHS as a customer. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE on last 2 requests for service. Absolutely no follow up on missed promised emergency service request that vendor never showed up or refused to come out due to being busy. No return calls from AHS, had to initiate my own calls. AHS refused to re-imburse for service provided by one of their own certified vendors. Nothing but lies and failure to deliver. No follow up from management until I cancelled my policy. PUTRID COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH.

We have been with them for 16 years. They are insurers for major appliances in the home. We have used them 2 times to repair things. They want you to use their choice of companies. You have to fight to use who you know and trust. Our yearly insurance bill comes in August. They start calling about the money $445.00 about 2 months before it's due. Sometime they call several times a week! It's ridiculous. I complained last year. Well, guess what! They called again! F*#king leaves us alone! We'll pay first of August as always. We don't appreciate your BS calls. Leave us alone!!!!!PS. Don't even try to add something you need rather than, or instead of, some of the crap they include that hardly anyone has. They'll charge you an arm and a leg more. Typical insurers. It's all about them and the almighty buck!
