I got he same letter and found the same things. I am beginning to think it is a phish too. Keep us informed of your experience.
Got to the bottom of this just this morning. There were thousands of these sent out due to a glitch at the IRS. Nothing to worry about according to the very large payroll company that handles my withholding taxes. They are not sure what happened but are working to fix the problem. So not a phishing scam, no changes have been made. THere's lots of people calling that number now, hence there's a 30 minute wait.
i recieved a letter from irs that i submitted an address change on my business and i never aproved such. this appears to be a scam. beware the phone number prompts to enter very personal information. i am trying to get assistance to sort this out.. any tips?
I received two separate IRS letters for the same thing. One was from Ogden, UT and the other from Cincinnati, OH. An address request change has NEVER been submitted to the IRS.

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
