They managed to scare my mom, calling my childhood home (Where I haven't lived for over 25 years) Saying in my best interest to call them back, Case # Blah, Blah, Blah... They did say they were from "Global Management" which is odd since they couldn't "manage" to find me, having lived in the same place for over 10 years. I wish all the people who send out Junk Mail were this lucky. I've been unfortunate to have been sued for an outstanding medical bill and it starts with a letter, arbitration, court, judge the whole works... In my case it ended in wage garnishment but that was after I missed an agreed upon payment. Sure it can be scary or nerve racking but not the end of the world. But these guys on the phone are just scammers and prey on fear! Don't fall for it, let them file in court...

I got the call today. It had red flags so I looked up number and now I see why. My first red flag was them not saying I was being recorded and this is an attempt to collect a dept. If legit they have to record to have evidence. They also gave me the last four of my social, when I said I don’t feel comfortable verifying my social even the last four she said that she could not go further with the conversation. They used an old address in CA. I have not lived in CA for over 8 years now. Said GE money was a credit card from a retail store but couldn’t name which one. Said I owed $11,000.00. I have never owned in my life any credit card for that limit amount nor have I had a company not charge off after so many years. I also just ran my credit report and that company did not come up as money owed. I think my info was sold by someone running my credit. When I got upset she hung up on me. I called back over an hour later and she knew exactly who I was. I informed her that she was legally obligated to give me an opportunity to contest this amount and a court date before garnishing wages. She said she was taking to Someone else and would call me back. I told her I didn’t know when I would be available. She said I’m sorry but I am taking to someone who wants help. I hung up after I said are you f... kidding me. I have had my wages garnished before but it was a medical bill and they informed me in writing first. Scam Alert!!

calls and says to have me or my lawyer call and threaten a ton of non-sensical things. Scam and annoying as...

Unknown company, unable to find any reference to a company by that name. Voicemail said it was important, but referenced another's name. Possible scam that went wrong as my name was not mentioned.

Left message saying I had a capitol one card in default and the state of California was filing fraud charges. Never had a capitol one card. Complete scam.
