It's fake folks - this is a phishing fraud looking for your credit card number. Don't be fooled by the fake shill postings trying to make you believe this is a real number.
Despite Fraud Squad's concerns, this is legitimate. I didn't give out any information other than what I would have given to someone who already had it, and it turns out that what they were concerned about is legit. Somehow my credit card is linked to my daughter's Google Play account on our new phones, and so she bought some things yesterday (and told me about them last evening) ... and she knew what credit card it was. I am glad that there is some fraud surveillance out there.
not true .. they never asked for my credit card number, and I wouldn't have given it to them if they asked. I am not a shill, in fact I'm about to be out of work so I'd be worried if someone were fraudulently using my card. Please don't discourage folks from calling if it's possible that their card could have been used fraudulently.
