Got a call saying call to resolve this important business matter. It was an automated call and I couldn't talk to them. Tried to call them back and the answering machine said it was Emery Walters & Associates. I didn't leave a message.
Ive been getting these calls off and on for about 2 months. Same old message over and over. No name just a number. Obviously a scam.
The Company is OSI Collection Agency.They do collections for FEDEX.It is a legitimate collection agency for FEDEX.As noted by poster "Alfalfa" below...OSI Commercial Collection Services. Same with me. I have no records of any outstanding bills on my credit (over 800) and got this call today in reference to FedEx. Why would FedEx go to collections for a delivery bill for maybe $20 which is paid for before mailing??Weird.
Recording that says it's attempting to collect a debt..Doesn't ask for a specific person. This is a business and the calls need to cease.
If you have ever sent a package for your employer or business with your name in the From field and your employer didn't pay the bill - they will call and harass you - not your employer. You must call them back and tell them that it was a business transaction and that you are not responsible for it - be careful, because they can report it on YOUR credit report if you don't get it resolved.
Received automated call announcing that it was a collection agency call and to call back. Since it was automated, they give no information about who they want to talk to, etc. We are a small, debt free company.Saw an earlier report that mentioned this was LSI. We had gotten calls from them in the past, and called them back - reps were hostile and would give no info.
