They kept calling several times a day. wont answer and no message is left. If you do pick up, they want to press 1 to continue, yeah no I will not press 1, you kidding me. Called the number back since it is a legit company and told them to quit calling. They are calling for someone else I have no idea who they are. I bet they bought a list and bogus people to the numbers. So simply call them back and tell them to quit calling, lets hope this works
This number calls several times a day. No msg on answer machine. I'm on do not call registry. Please stop these calls.
Got the call stating my name on the automated thing - pressed one - held for 10minutes to be connected then a woman stated she was with Penn Credit and gave her "attempt to collect a debt" speech. Then asked if I was who they were calling for then she asked me to hold. After 5 minutes I hung up. I don't know for who or why - I have no outstanding collections to my knowledge. Got copy of my credit a while back and took care of any issues. Was frustrating that they are the ones that obviously want to speak to me and all they did was keep me on hold. Must not have been that important to them.
Calling my house phone and cell phone simultaneously for a week now. The home phone connection is so short that their CID info is not captured by my equipment but the conjoined ring to both devices is so obvious that I use the data from my cell phone as evidence. The CID caller name was displayed as "Phone Company" on my cell. Really? Maybe next time it will say "Your Mom" in the hopes I will pick up. IDIOTS!!!!Other numbers they have been using to psycho call me:800-459-8184800-459-6103
They were polite to me, it was for a book club that I had asked to stop sending me books. They were nice. However they don't tell you up front what the debt it for, which caused grief.
Not sure why I'm getting calls from this number. Says I owe $30.98 doesn't say for what. My credits at 800 don't understand why I'm getting this call. It's got to be a scam but I will be trying to call the number back. Tried calling tonight when they called me at 8:30 p.m. and it said to call back during business hours doesn't give a name of the company doesn't give the times there open. All I have is the caller ID. But I will call back on Monday and probably harass them like they're harassing me. Any reputable Collective would have left hours that they're open. This has to be a robocall with nobody in the office jerks.
This number belongs to a "bottom feeder" by the name of Penn Credit. I'm afraid they are just your typical parasite feeding debt collector. They typically operate by harassing family members and neighbors.
Received call from this number at 11:15 a.m. Caller said, "Hi, Grandma, this is your Grandson." Said, what is your name? He says, "Don't you remember me?" Said No, actually I don't and hung up. Called back immediately--blocked. I have no grandsons.
Called me over and over and over, finally leaving a message indicating that they're looking for my ex-husband (on behalf of American Express), that I divorced 30 years ago. I spoke with a polite woman the next time they called and told her that he has never lived here, NEVER had this phone number (landline) and that I divorced him 30 years ago. She hesitated, then asked if I have his contact information. I laughed out loud and told her that we are NOT in contact and haven't been for years. She told me she would remove my number from their files and make a note on the file. Six weeks later and they've started calling again, not leaving a message, but the number is the same. My guess is that they had his landline number and he has probably had that disconnected in favor of his cell phone, which they apparently do not have the number for. Even if I hated him, which I don't, I'd never make it easy for these vultures to harass him, especially since they continue to harass me after I took the time to explain the situation to them.
