Called and did not leave a voice mail. Do not have a "Chase" card of any kind. Blocked the number.

800-935-9935 called on July 4, left urgent voice mail for a person I don't know about activity on a card I don't have. Claimed to be Chase Fraud Prevention Department. Asked me to call 800-454-9078 and have my credit card account number ready when I call. I bet. Let me get right to that!

I got the call and decided to call the Chase Bank number on the back of my card.(Voice message said there was unusual activity on my card) . . turns out it waslegitimate. It was Chase Bank Fraud Protection, and there was bogus activity on my card.

I received a call tonight from that 800-935-9935 number and a voicemail stating that there was fraudulent activity on my card, which I just opened 4 days ago and have yet to receive ... so I called the customer service number on my Chase app instead, and the guy said there wasn’t no activity on my card, so it was a fraudulent call. That’s so messed up!

Called concerning transactions on my card.I used a chance to ask about the claims that I’ve submitted recently and not being able to access them.The woman didn’t seem very professional- connected me to the “claims “ department. The Indian accent man had a hard time to understand how the claim process works at Chase, which left me really concerned if he ever worked there or at any bank at all. I am suspicious that this number is a fraud...

No it’s not the number that printed on the back of any of Chase cards. Lies

Got a call from 800-935-9935 telling me it was from Chase Fraud Division - well I am not a Chase customer. No fraud committed for I will not return their call.

It is chase bank. They call to report acct info when someone is making transactions or when checks clear,etc....

I agree with you. It is from Chase and you can set up alerts on your accounts to either call or e-mail you (or both) when specific events occur in your account. For example, I just go such a call and it was because I made a debit card transaction over the specified amount. If I had not made the transaction, I could call Chase and tell them within minutes instead of days of it happening.
