I have recvd numerous calls from this number. It's been going on for at least a year! We answered at least once, but it's been so long ago I can't remember exactly what the scam was about! I do remember DO NOT ANSWER! So irritating. Most of the time it calls at our dinner time.

This is the second time I have filed a complaint regarding this company.

Received a call from 941-799-5523 on 6/25/15 at 6:46pm. Message was left from Shakeri (?) who was calling on behalf of my medical insurance provider and wanted me to call her back at 1-800-940-5671 x 0051. Sounded odd to me so I called my insurance provider this morning - the rep put me on hold and actually called the number. He came back on the line and told me that yes, it was a third party that is affiliated with my provider (no company name given) that offers in home health assessments at no charge to me and that I should have received an accompanying letter explaining all of this.I guess I'm just not a trusting person because this all sounds like nonsense to me...in this day and age when identity theft is rampant and you can't turn on the local news without hearing about another violent home invasion/burglary why in the world would I willingly invite a stranger into my home to "assess my health" based on a cold call?

Missed call from 941-799-5523 on 6/30/15 at 1:24pm. No message left this time. Added to the reject list on my phone.

Got the same call this morning. They have been calling repeatedly but only today left a message. Name of the company is Home Advantage. Probably get a kickback for finding issues they can refer to a specific dr. But who'd let a cold call just come into your home. Very suspect and it seems senior target-related.

I've received several calls from this company trying to schedule an in home health assessment at the behest of my medical insurance provider. I've ignored all of the 800#s so today they tried routing it through a local # -- likely thinking I would pick up this time. The message was from some guy reading a script asking me to call 800-940-5671... which is simply never going to happen. Like I'd let a complete stranger into my home to do a health assessment.

It really is okay... it is a 3rd party service that does a health screening for your insurance company. In my case because this is new insurance for me. I just had mine done, but prior called the number on the back of my insurance card to verify that it was legit. It was indeed authorized on my account. The nurse that came out said she mostly sees elderly people that may need more time with a nurse to explain what they have going on vs. the short time at the doctor's office. No personal info such as insurance member number or ssn was requested.

You also have the option to meet somewhere public to have the assessment done if you don't feel comfortable with a stranger in your house.
