Finally decided to pick up just to mess with the scammers. Got the "important business matter" song and dance stating they were looking for my wife. I'm guessing scammers know she has a Macy's card from one of many security breeches. I know it's a scam because my wife used the Macy's account once to get a discount. The balance was paid off and the card never used. Remember, caller ID is easy to spoof. Anyone can make any number pop up. Just because it shows Macy's collections department number does not mean it is actually them. Block the number.

got a call, same thing -- "personal matter". Macy's or whoever, just send a notice in the snail mail if you want to harrass me

Received a call and said I have an outstanding balance on MACY's card. I never had a MACY's account. The middle initial they gave me is not correct. I do not want to give them any info(DOB, last 4 digits of SSN) over the phone to verify the account. I never received anything from MACYs in the mail or email. They can not tell me any info on the account either.

I got a vm saying it is a "personal business matter" it has to be Macy's it's the only card I did not have the money to pay. But they do not help you out with the charges and i have not worked in the last 6 month. Don't llok like I will be able to pay it any time soon. If it comes down to electricity or macys, I pick POWER!! Called ID showed different number then the one on the message.

they said the same thing to me a Ms Hite personal business matter...please I miss ONE payment and you start harrasing? GET A LIFE!

GOT A CALL ON SUNDAY FROM THIS # AND NO REASON GIVEN.THE TIME WAS ABOUT 245PM.THESE HARRASERS AREN'S SUPPOSE TO CALL ON SUNDAY.

Watch out for a "Mrs. Johnson". She asked for my boss & said to tell her it's regarding a "Personal Business Matter". I threw it away.

These people called and continue to call. I don't know who they are andI never give them any information. Stay clear of them!

They called asking for a person who is not related to me and to the best of my knowledge has never had this phone number. Why are they calling my phone? My guess is that someone combined her name and my phone number on a credit card application.
