Fake debt collector

It was a collection agency. They left a message on my office phone asking to call back. When I did, they said they were looking for someone I don't know. I asked them to stop their calls. Will see.

A new message on my machine was left today, its a recording. They are looking for a "Victor Reece or Reed". I am not this person, nor do I know them. The recording claims you must call back, its an urgent issue. I'm half tempted to call them and tell them never to call me again. Half tempted to wait and see if they call again.

I have received 7 or 8 automated calls saying to return the call to 1-800-990-4761 looking for a "Joseph Horn." I have no idea who this is and have followed the prompt on their automated line for #5 "You do not know this person" and am still getting these automated calls. How can I get them to stop this harrassment?

I got a call from 800-990-4761. Is this a collection agency. Should you trust them? I had old debts but have since filed Chapter 13. My attorney said to ignore them. It still bothers you though.

Received a call today from Julia Pawlik who worked for the a collection agency LTD asking me if I had an attorney or would like to represent myself. Julia said I had an outstanding Zales account from back in 2006. She was quite rude and demanded my Social Security Number of all things. Then when I refused stated that I must be guilty and threatened with a lawsuit in 48 hours. I requested to speak to the supervisor and he mentioned that he was looking for another person with the same name but different middle name. He provided the other persons SS# which was not mine. I asked for their address so that I can file a complaint formally and the he became upset and then hung up on me. I called Julia back and she ask that I not call her any longer refusing to provide a way to provide a complaint. Then yelled and hung up on me.

BAD PEOPLE CALLING FROM 18009904761, SCAM TRYING TO COLLECT MONIES ,

I received multilple messages from 800-990-4761 Aargon collections asking for a "Robert Warsham". I do not know this person and yet the calls continue. When I called Aargon back and told them I am not this person and to stop the harassment, they got belligerent with me and threatened me with legal action.

I filed chapter 13 also. Take their name and address, give it to your lawyer. The lawyer should send them a "nice" letter describing the LAW and what happens to debt collectors should they continue to pursue you AFTER a bankruptcy. Works for me. Thank God!

This number----> 800-990-4761 has been calling my 11 year old grand daughter's phone. She has had her cell for 2 years now and these calls have started in the last month. The only message left is to call that number back, not gonna do it. Been down that road before, even when you tell them they have the wrong number they still keep calling.
