I asked him to go online to our website and pay. He did not know I was monitoring our website and guess what? Received an email from a "Bill Hann" asking about lacrosse shafts, which I hesitantly responded to (seemed fishy from the start). Got a response asking for 50 pieces to be sent to The Netherlands, along with all the mumbo jumbo about freight companies and quotes that everyone else has gotten. Thanks to Google, I wound up here. Thank you to everyone who has posted! Such a shame.

Got the same email "Urgent Order" from a Bill Hann. Not unusual for me to get email inquiries, but after I responded and he asked to order 20 units and wanted to pay with a CC, I immediately smelled a rat. Sure enough, a google search landed me here.......After I got the request for 20 units ($6500 sale) I asked for resale, EIN, W9, and a money order for payment before anything was sent. Have not heard back.....lolBeware of "Hann Business, LTD" out of San Diego...... total scam!!!!

Here is another of these scams. Will they never stop? I feel bad for anyone who falls for this junk. Such a bunch of idiots. They don't even know enough to shop properly for the items they tell you they want to buy. First they will suck you in with an inquiry for something that sounds like a good opportunity and once they have you interested, they send you this: Fall for this and not only will you never see any money from the supposed sale, you run the risk of accepting a stolen credit card into your system which will get you in trouble with your CC companies. Beware of anyone who wants to specify a shipper and have you pay anything up front. You would pay the shipper and the transaction is completely bogus. Apparently they use a stolen card to order the products, then charge you for the shipping which is 1,000s of dollars. PS--although Pacific International Lines does exist, their email address listed is fake. I responded with a brief email stating we are aware of the scam tactics.

I am very lucky to have found this forum. Is there any way to report this person? Here is the first set of numerous emails from this man. At first he stated he wanted 3 units then he stated he wanted 6. He stated that he wanted me to run the credit card on my end through Paypal instead of him doing on his end because he was away at a trade show. I explained I cannot do that and that he can certainly access the web where he was staying or even from his phone and pay the Paypal invoice via the link provided. There have been many problems with identity theft and stolen credit cards and this is why I believe this security policy is in place.
