I can't understand wy Care Services would call me. I've never heard of that collection agency. Could @ have me mistaken for someone else?

Not only did I get a call from 803-237-9332 on my cell, I also received a text message from 510-592-4856 notifying me that I have a voicemail from 803-237-9332.. I dont have that type of voicemail for my phone...

got a call this morning around 10:00 am est. It kept ringing for a long while.

Just got the call, missed it and called back. The message was a song from the 80's "867-53-OH-NINEE" followed by "is full".

I just got my second call from this number. I ignored it since it was an out-of-area-code number although I should have answered it since I'm on the National DNC. However, this time I had part of a voice mail from the recording, the very end part. I did file a complaint with the DNC and wrote what that part of the voice mail was. Will it help? Who knows? But this is my first junk call in three weeks, and ironically the last junk call was from this same number!I'm now getting spam text messages!

Received a call from this number regarding a health partipation offer for diabetics. I am not diabetic and have never signed up for such things. They call my new cell (using up my limited minutes) and there is no call back number to be removed. There is no identifing information to contact them to be removed. I am on the Do Not Call registry.

You're both stupid. It doesn't matter who your carrier is. Calls to cell phones are illegal. Hang-up calls are illegal. Calls which do not give a callback number by which to be removed from their list are illegal. Phony "surveys" with the intent of selling diabetic supplies are illegal.What MAY have happened if you changed numbers when you switched is that the new number belonged to someone who got a lot of telemarketing calls because they didn't mind being on a lot of lists.Blaming the carrier for telemarketing calls is just silly. Telemarketers don't care who your carrier is. Unless you can prove your carrier sells lists of numbers to telemarketers, you need to find something else to do with your time.Like, tracking down telemarketers and filing lawsuits.
