My daughter received a very threatening call from someone claiming to be with state police that she had charges related to tax evasion and fraud. She hasn't even had to file a tax return yet. They were very threatening and intimidating stating that she should take care of it now by paying the associated fees or would have to go to court. If she hung up the phone an officer would arrive at her location within 15 minutes to arrest her. She should not disclose information about the case with anyone when she asked if she could call her mother.

Just called me and I received the exact same call as mentioned before sound like Indian guys trying to pull a scam. I told them I knew who they were and they hung up.

Threatening phone call about a collection which I do not owe anyone. I am on the do not call list as much good as this does. I guess I will just discontinue my phone as there are so many scams no one does anything about.

call came in a voice mail on my cell phone stating a persons name, ashly something, and badge number, which was spoken so fast could not comprehend immediately. person (a female) claimed someone had used my name and ss number and i was to report to the state of Washington police department by 11AM next day. i could not understand if they were telling me there was a claim or a complaint against me. needless to say i did not respond. i hope these creeps get caught!!!!!
