I was reading all your messages below it seems you all have tmobile for a cell phone. I have ATT the call my cell my office line it's crap. All hours as early as 6:15 am as late as 9:15pm no message when you call back you get the voice box message.. STOP FRICKEN CALLING ME....
I called my cell phone voice mail and this number popped up on my caller ID it has access to my voice mail.
Have gotten v/m "messages" from this number several times. All I hear are muffled sounds, banging, and a sound that might be someone covering the phone with a hand and then hissing a message into it. Ticking me off.
When a missed call leaves a voice-mail, it is stored on T-Mobile's servers rather than on your phone. You can then call this number (the T-Mobile voice mail number) in order to view information about this voice-mail, including the actual recording, phone number, time of call, etc. This protects the contents of the voice-mail (because it can be password protected), and saves storage space on your phone. In my case, since I have set up T-Mobile voice mail, I can call this number, input the password I decided during the set up process, and listen to any voice mails I may have. If they don't answer, you either do not have a T-Mobile plan, or you have not properly set up the process. It may also be broken.
This number 805-637-7243 has called my cell phone more than 8 times this month. I do not know who it is and no messages have been left. Would love for it to STOP!
You might want to check on your cell phone if there is the block this number option. If you have the option then just enter the number you want to be blocked.
FIRST, if you're getting REPEATED CALLS from the T-MOBILE MESSAGE CENTER number, something is SCREWY, and T-Mobile KNOWS WHAT IT IS. For those who were told "T-Mobile said they can't do anything about it," ask for a supervisor, refer to this website (send him/her the link if they take you up on it) and insist you be reimbursed for the minutes they are calling you. This is because you are not supposed to RECEIVE calls from the message center number that is STORED IN YOUR CELLPHONE (in Android, it's SETTINGS, CALL SETTINGS, VOICEMAIL, THEN VOICEMAIL settings for my carrier. Then you will see VOICEMAIL NUMBER and UNDERNEATH it is THIS PHONE NUMBER we're all biotching about.HOW TO FIX YOUR PROBLEM:Tell the T-Mobile rep that the NUMBER in your cell phone is CALLING CUSTOMERS, and T-Mobile's voicemail number has ZERO REASONS TO CALL CUSTOMERS. Tell the rep that if T-MOBILE DOES NOT FIX THE ISSUE AND CONTINUES TO CALL YOU, you will have NO CHOICE but to report the "MASSIVE WIDESPREAD PROBLEM" to the FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION AND THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION for their assistance in CONTROLLING A PROBLEM that is costing T-MOBILE CUSTOMERS THOUSANDS EVERY DAY for an issued that T-MOBILE HAS STATED THEY CAN'T/WON'T CONTROL on their OWN. And tell the supervisor that you're going to make sure that when you email (to document in writing!!!!) that you INFORMED T-MOBILE OF THIS ISSUE and that NO RESPONSE OR FIX WAS ISSUED, you will MAKE SURE THAT YOU EMAIL THE CORPORATE OFFICE the SUPERVISOR'S NAME AND ID NUMBER (ask for them first!!!) to tell the executives that THIS IS THE PERSON WHO COULD HAVE STARTED THE BALL ROLLING TO FIX THE PROBLEM BUT CHOSE NOT TO DO IT, PROMPTING THE COMPLAINTS TO THE TWO GOVERNMENT AGENCIES. I ASSURE YOU -- THAT WILL GET THE ATTENTION OF THE SUPERVISOR!! They do NOT want to be the one name in the letter to the corporate execs that says "Since Ms./Mr. ________ has refused to put in a trouble ticket for this for my account to stop the charges even after repeated requests to do so, I had no choice but to email the FTC and the FCC to look into T-Mobile's refusal to stop the quirk in their voicemail number CALLING customers, which is probably due to the fact that they are wishing to make quite a bit of revenue first over this "glitch" they are aware of but refuse to repair....."
