received a call from this number several times today without them leaving a message

We have been made aware that someone is using our business phone number to solicit for a bogus charity / money. I assure you, we are not the origin of these calls. We are a company located in Brighton Michigan and have made a police report per the direction of Comcast (our phone service provider) in an effort to stop this misuse of our business number. I apologize for the inconvenience –and assure you we’re also being inconvenienced by the many calls WE’VE received with angry people saying “please take me off your list!!”. We are doing all we can to correct the situation.

Received call from this number, answered and nothing, told whoever was calling that they had 5 seconds to say something or I was hanging up. Started counting, 1, and they hung up.

I do not appreciate your calls to the phone I pay for for MY convenience. The ringing disturbs my peace. I will hunt you down and restrain you while covering your ears with headphones that ring over and over again without relief for a timeless eight hour torture if you continue to call me.

These unwanted calls are really getting to me. I am going to purchase Digitone Call Blocker machine, runs $92.95 plus shipping.They have a web site. You can also view a video on you tube showing how it works . For the moment my out going answering machine say IF YOU ARE A TELEMARKETER HANG UP NOW

Google for Insight Teleservices and you will find out that this bottom feeder is tightly interwoven with GOOD CHARITIES which has many legit sounding charity names. Insight scrapes off 85% of whatever they conn you out of. Out of the remaining $0.15 per dollar that goes to GOOD CHARITIES even more hits the floor before any money is disbursed to any so called charity. Block them.

I also got the call, but I didn't mind the call, Why, because I bought a Digitone Call Blocker. www.digitone.com The first time they call, it rings my phone and the call comes through. I then block the number and the next time they call, my phone doesn't even ring and the blocker hangs up on them. You can even block entire area codes. I have it setup to block any incoming calls with the 855 area code. The blocker keeps track of all calls, good and bad ones. Then I like to check to see who got hung up on just for fun like I am now.You need to buy one of these, you’ll like it. No monthly fees either

After getting 1 - 6 SPAM calls DAILY, we just had 3 blessed weeks with NONE of these calls. Then, Unfortunately, Yesterday (4/29) they started up again. Got 3 calls from three different numbers within 24 hours; TWO said "MICHIGAN CALL" (this one) or "MICHIGAN CALLER" 989-462-0241 and the other said "CALIFORNIA" from 949-933-2545. I've seen other posts with ALL THREE of these numbers. All came in on the SAME phone line, and with same MO - a HANGUP before the machine can pick up.The "989-462-0241" is listed with Mr.Number as AN INVALID NUMBER (likely SPOOFED) and THEREFORE, AUTOMATICALLY SPAM and a LIKELY SCAM. That makes the OTHER "MICHIGAN" call likely a SCAM, too, and lets just assume the CALIFORNIA one is, also.In light of the events in BOSTON these past weeks (MARATHON BOMBING) I think its time the FBI and CIA got involved in INVESTIGATING these calls to see if they are part of FUNDING TERRORISM. At BEST they are CRIMINAL anyway; at worst, they could be SCAMMING DUMB and NAIVE AMERICANS into FUNDING the ACTS OF VIOLENCE against them!
