If you all say this call is legit, I believe you, but they called me and I hung up anyway, and here is why: Every time someone has called me and asked me to participate in a phone survey, after doing so, they always say "Thank you for your time. As a reward we would like to offer you a free..." Well, you know the rest. One guy wanted to come to my house and install an alarm system. Absolutely free! - for the first month. My wife went online and filled out a survey and as a free gift she got disk from the Video Professor on how to use Ebay. A month later my Visa card was billed $400! Seems along with the free disk they slipped two more disks in the envelope and charged us. So I am very wary of surveys. And don't think just because it says Neilsen on caller ID that it is. Bottom line, if there is even the slightest chance this survey will lead to trouble, why bother? It isn't worth five bucks.

I got sick and tired of these people calling at ALL hours, origin: Tampa West, FL. I just answered the darn phone these people just would NOT quit, definitely:Nielsen Ratings!!!!Going to Do Not Call Registry to submit.

I have been getting calls from them twice a day since Jan. 23. It's rather annoying getting calls throughout the day. I did the survey, but I would think after a week they would stop calling me.

Caller id says Nielsen Ratings - have called 13 times in eleven days at various hours. I finally answered yesterday, told them to stop calling me and to put me on their do not call list immediately. So, they called again today. I will be reporting them to the local DA on harassment complaint.

We have repeatedly asked them to stop calling. I get who they are and we dont care. We have two young children and they are calling at 9pm and during family times. We have had to report them to the FCC for harrassment and had them blocked through our phone company. I dont have a problem with them calling people who dont mind it but when you are specifically asked not once but 7 TIMES to stop calling and you dont thats just harrassment.

they repeatedly call my number and leave messages in spanish. the jerk who called today stopped speaking spanish when i yelled at him. he said he was conducting a neilsen poll but all he really wanted to know was if we were hispanic or not.

Please stop calling...I do not own a tv and cannot answer your questions...I work nights and do not appreciate being called several times a day.

The moron who called said her name was Lauren Conder of Nielsen TV Ratings in Radcliffe, KY. I told her I was on the do not call list and asked her for her FCC database registry number. She said they are not selling anything so she is allowed to call me. I had a few unkind words of disagreement for their harassing phone calls. I would like to put companies like this out of business.

calls at all times of day,as late as 8:00 pm,8:59 pm all days of the week they do not leave messages, I am on the do not call list!!!!!!

Nielsen Ratings. Five bucks for answering a few questions, I was probably on the phone a whole two minutes. They're sending me a diary to track our TV viewing for a week - what's the big deal? Our input helps TV companies better target their audiences - the less of us that reply, the less likely we are to get quality shows that we can actually WATCH. Just do the survey, what is the big deal?
