Called at 9:30 at night???I,would love to give them a rating right now..all at below sea levels.
The current Do Not Call law was specifically written to cover only calls for the sale of goods or services to personal phone numbers. A new law would need to be passed to cover charities, surveys and political calls. However, these latter callers are supposed to place you on their own Do Not Call list if you request it. If they continue to call after such a request then you can proceed with legal action against them provided you have documented everything.
I've had up to 2 or 3 calls per day to them to... they call here sometimes at 7 or 8 in the morning
I also have received money in the mail and did do the survey. It's not a scam. I've been doing surveys for the last year for a company called e rewards and have gotten $100 worth of ticketmaster gift cards. it was through this company I got in contact with Nielsen and would be happy to take there surveys anytime.
I, myself, work at Nielsen, Nielsen isn't selling anything to anyone, you actually get money if you participate in the surveys that we conduct. The DNC doesn't apply to Nielsen because they aren't selling anything. You could state that you just want to be put on the do not call list and hangup. We are supposed to put you on the DNC list if you say that.
Called me at 7:54 pm, then at 8:03 pm, 8:04 and 8:05 pm. Did not answer any of the calls.
Nielsen TV ratings, who randomly selects people to fill out their surveys for TV channels to find out what people enjoy watching the most. Have received mail from them a couple of times, and got $20 from them for filling out a weekly diary of what I watched. Ignoring their calls. Left me a message once. I'll just see if they'd like to send me more surveys that I could get some money off of.
