Tell them you are already enrolled in college or that you don't have a H.S. diploma those tactics work.
I requested more information about a program at Villanova University late last night and received a call by 9:30am the next morning. Unlike most of the posts here, the caller did leave a very professional message. Hopefully, I won't experience what most others have after I give him a call back. Also, the call type selection on this website isn't all inclusive. They really should have an "Other" choice because the only way that University Alliance will call is if you asked to receive more info about an online education program.
They call all the time. I've asked them to remove my number, and they don't. I think they hired a BPO to make their calls. This is hurting Villanova's brand.
Florida Tech University Online, part of University Alliance. Inquired, chose to attend a different school. I told them, yet they call everyday.
Yep, I got sucked in via an online course from Villanova. Excellent course, but I immediately became a spam and telemarketing target...despite the promises of privacy, security, etc. Somehow, I don't think someone pushing Viagra has any legitimate business ties to University Alliance to justify going around the FCC Do Not Call List. ;-)I keep receiving hang-up calls from this number. I reacted by calling University Alliance and asking them to please stop. No good. Follow w/ written request, return receipt, asking same. No good. OK...I sent a written letter to the President of Villanova explaining the facts and recommending they reconsider their association w/ UA as it is dragging down the perception of their integrity. No response. It's all about the money.I then reported them to the FCC as violating the DNC, since I had requested both verbally and in writing that they cease calling me. The FCC's response was this was OK, since I had a previous business relationship, IN SPITE of the requests to quit. However, once the FCC tagged them, it all stopped. So...let the associated school you started w/ know about your experiences...can't hurt. And then go thru the FCC. If enough people do that, maybe they'll finally figure it out.
