guys, it's not a huge deal. all i did was looked up the number, saw your comments, answered the phone and told them they had the wrong number. that simple. no more calls.
I can't stress or share this enough. It they have been calling for months how about ANSWERING THE PHONE..... saying "I'm sorry, you must have the wrong number." and eureka! No more calls from them... So quit bitching and answer the phone for 2 seconds. It'll save you a lot of irritating phone calls.
well this is my first call in from Villanova University. i let it ring and when it stopped i then googled the caller id number and opened this web site. So I think I am going to try to document every call from this number here. it wasnt 2 - 8 minutes when i received my 1st call while i was downloading there pdf brouchure file when the phone rang.
They call every hour on the hour. It's so bad. But if your pissed at someone it could be a great way to get back at them. Just sign them up.
It's an online university trying to recruit ...If you answer it, it is automated and gives you a toll-free number to be removed OR tells you to press one (I know this simply because this is the viocemail that I get, an automated line explaining this)
answer it ... it gives you the option to stop the calls by pressing 1 or calling a phone number.Online university trying to recruit you ...
Here's an email address for a rep for University Alliance. Email her. Every day. Day after day. Several times a day.sarah-duffy@universityalliance.com
I took a few classes through one of the universities that University Alliance works with. The classes were fantastic, very well organized and I was extremely impressed. When I told them I was taking the semester off to get married, move, and start a new job, they called up to 16 times a day and continued to push me to register for classes. I took one last class before I transferred to a different university because I couldn't deal with the calls anymore. They still occasionally call, I imagine it will pick up again when it's time to register for next semester.
