They call to verify information for loans like auto etc.

I'll admit that I did call that person scum for [***] that I did too but I'm definitely not proud of letting myself be that bad I was in over my head and I screw up and now I'm paying the priceS. Being in debt is a terrible feeling

They just called from that # to verify my full name and my work #. Who are this people?

Verifacts or whoever they are called my place of employment trying to verify info. My Hr dept let me know and gave me the number and ladys name and i called back. they said they just verified info for banks, ins, student loans , etc and when I asked her who and why she wanted to verify it, she gave me the run around and I told her that there has to be a reason or someone that she is verifying it for and she told me she couldn't give me that info, she said that she can have them call me. Something just doesn't seem right about any of this.

Got a call from this number asking to verify employment. We do not give out any information about our employees . Sorry.

i have no idea what they can and can't do but judging by what I've read they obviously legal if they a re still here right? AlsoI have no idea if them calling me had anything to do with my bankruptcy bit it just link everything to that now All I know is they didn't actually ask me for anything they did give it to me. I have people calling me actually asking for my info and thos are the people i wouldn't give it to.. It is imperative to be cautious of these things most defiantly just watch for signs of legitimacy and scams

They called to verify my ss# and other private information at an old employer. Who are these ppl.

They called me today. Asked for my address (which she had wrong but I didn't correct) and then asked for my birthdate. I asked what they needed this information for and they said that they update records for banks, etc... I have not applied for any loans or anything like that. I admit that they may be trying to locate me for a bill or something but I thought that they had to inform you that they were trying to collect a debt. I asked her what company was asking her to update my record and she would only say that I had to provide her the information before she could tell me. I told her that I wasn't comfortable providing any information to her and she hung up.
