I received a sales call that I had "won a contest," when this could not be true. I am sick and tired of unsolicited calls.

Got a call from "Dr. Theresa Gibbons" (and Brussel Gibbons was on the caller ID)Some telemarketer!Geesh!

The phone number was 818-882-6159

I thought this was a telemarketer also, however, after the second time calling, the caller left a message. It is from a Dr. Terry Brussel-Gibbons who is a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. I attended an event where I received a free CD and filled out a questionaire. . . completely forgot about it though. It is a solicitation call, but not random, as I had given my number on the questionaire. I get a lot of annoying (unwanted) calls too, which is what brings me to this site. However, in this case, at least for me, it wasn't so random. Hope this is helpful.

Yeah, I stupidly put my real name on her questionnaire for a free CD *3* years ago and she still calls me every couple of months to try and sell her hypnotherapy services! Yeesh,,, next time I'll remember to put a fake number... Or an enemy's number!

I don't appreciate sales calls in general. This one came at 8:30 on a Sunday evening. Even more annoying!

Ditto. I didn't recognize the number or the name on the caller id, but I answered the call anyway. Sales call by hypnotherapist. Persistent too.

Hello, this is the Trade Show Coordinator at Success Center, Inc. I setup/run our booth at many different trade shows & conventions. Terry Brussel is the director here.This is an answer to most of the posts hereWe only call people that have filled out one of our information cards at a trade show/convention. Yes we do a drawing for a complementary session. Yes our info card clearly states just above the name field that you are asking for more info on our services.We do have a regular issue at the different shows with businesses sending their employees in with the owner's business card instead of one with their own name. Or putting down a 'friend's or relative's' name because they want to 'help' them quit smoking )or any of the rest of what we do help people with). We can only call the name we have been given.We do not buy lists of names/numbers. We do accept referrals and will follow up on such.If your name (as someone below suggested putting an enemy's name & number down! Which is actually illegal to do!) has been put on a card without your permission, by one of your employees, or if you just are not interested anymore, please remember you only have to say to the person calling you: "Not interested remove me from your list" and we will do so. We do not like wasting our time calling people that have no interest in us any more than you want to be called for something you are not interested in.Someone that fills out the card with false info just to get the gift CD is committing theft. So people, if you are not interested, please just say so.Success Center has been in business since 1969. We have helped many thousands of people enhance their lives. That is why we are in business! People do not choose to become hypnotherapists without their having a desire to help others! Yes, this is why Dr. Terry Brussel became a hypnotherapist! Yes it is why we can be persistent!
