A pause happened right after I answered, just as people describe. It make sense to me that a computer is connecting to a live person at that time. A lady with an Asian accent, self-named Ashley, answered describing the company as something like "American Homeowner's Alliance", even though I don't own a home. When I said I haven't heard of the company, she responded with "oh is this not a good time?" I asked, do I have an account with them. She asked if she could call Tomorrow. I repeated the account question. She hung up.
I just started calling them back non stop, and even when they don't answer I just call back again. Probably around a 100 times. I think they got the point because they haven't called me back since.

Yeah, these idiots called my number too. Same as you, a pause then some guy with an Indian accent from some home security company. Erie thing is I believe it's a little more to it as he knew my name.. total invasion of my cyberspace! This **** should be outlawed..
BM, When you do answer and realize it is solicitation, block the number on your cell phone...I have a Samsung, the three dots up top by the trash can, it says add to reject list. I know Iphones have reject also.

Won’t give up I never answer but they keep dialing it up. Irritating, say it’s debt collection and city says Dallas.
