This number is the Monterey County Courthouse, located on Church Street in Salinas.

I received a call from this number. But the call was not to my phone it was on my mother in laws number. I am unaware of this appointment and do not know what it is for. Please I need to know. Of I can get some feed back as soon as possible that would be great. My number is 5303102332

Receiving phone calls from this number regarding important personal information. I do not even live in CA. so I do not understand why would anybody call me from the courthouse in CA.

This is a SCAM. The caller ID number is spoofed (meaning the number looks like it is coming from Monterey Courthouse, but it actually is originating from somewhere else, probably a foreign country). From my experience, official government business is always conducted through the US Postal service. They don't call you in a foreign accent and say, "We have information for you. Call us back."

They called me several times zero they don't leave any message..

I have received multiple calls from this number, but have never called them back. They leave a voicemail, but never in the voicemail do they mention what the call is regarding. They just say that they are from Monterey County and want me to call them back. I definitely feel that this is a scam, although the people who leave the voicemail don't sound like they are from a foreign country or anything, but honestly, if it wasn't a scam and they really needed to get a hold of me, I'm pretty sure they would leave a more detailed voicemail.

Hi, this is a Monterey County number/line. The call varies from different departments. From Child Support, Health Department, Social Services to Emergency Services. I understand it's very frustrating receiving a call from this number and no messages are left. I always leave the name of the person whom I'm trying to reach, my name, my department and my phone number.

I have received about 15 phone calls in the past hour from this number 755-5000 saying that it's the police department and that they received a hang-up call for me and then asked me what my name was and said that they would take care of the car but they kept calling back calling back calling black back so they said that it could be a glitch in my phone company I call my phone company they don't know what I'm talking about so I look up the number and it's the courthouse but could it be a scam I'm not too sure it's quite frustrating though

Received call from 831 755 5500 @ my biz office during 12/19/17. Did not leave a message. To me, if no message is left = NOT IMPORTANT. There is a greeting on my phone to email me or leave a message.

I have been receiving calls from 831-755-5000 almost every day in the morning. They leave a message and say that this is Monterey County and to call back to a different number 831-755-5042. This morning I answered the phone and they hung up. Sounds like a scam
