just got a call from this number on my cell phone...a number I only give to family and friends. Left no message when I did not pick up.
left message today saying 'as a great customer, you're rewarded with a free 5 days getaway at a resort..... Now, verify you are at least 28 years old and give me your credit/debit card#....' It hangs up since my voice mail fail to respond with a #.
I won a free cruise? Yeah, well.............they just won a free [***] stomping / field dressing exercise.........should I EVER find out a likely suspect.
The bad guys seem to be actually using the numbers on the DNC list to target their victims now! Did the FCC just leave our numbers out there, unprotected from the eyes of international thieves?Even if they had taken at least a few - obviously insufficient - measures to safeguard our numbers, International crooks & spies have hacked every other byte of data from the terminally incompetent US government over the last two years, so it wouldn't have mattered if they were smart about it in the first place, I guess. I regret ever signing up for that worthless program. They can't seem to do even the simplest jobs capably. And they do nothing but whine as every two-bit con man around the world makes the citizenry they're supposedly working for absolutely miserable.I mean, if they can't do anything about Rachel in Credit Card Services, they look like helpless whiny babies up against the worst malefactors around the world who are currently running rings around them.
Just called at 126PM. I had blocked the number last week so it just rang once and then disconnected. I will file another complaint with the FTC.
