they called me twice. never picked up and blocked the number on cell phone. wish they would do something more creative then try and scam people out of their money.

Yes I think this is a scam by a private company and they will call you at about 6:30 pm each at night. The women that's phoning you sound like she should have retired about 10 years ago or so. What government employee works at this time of night?

received a call, claimed to be Stats Canada. Asking if I received their Legal Survey in the mail. The proceeded to ask if I had any legal issues over the past year. Wanted to send me a link, where I could complete their survey online. Definitely trying to imitate a government employee, preying on people under tough legal situations.

Got a call this evening. Accent so thick that I have no idea what she was saying. it wasn't stats canada. My called ID shows only the number: 18339778287 without name.

These are fake telemarkets who steal ur data or even steal your money, they call it so statics canada, went to their real website and found out real number is; 1-800-263-1136 which is authentic, the one they try to call you is the fake one so be aware.

Stats Canada legitimately calling monthly for several months re labour force survey related to Covid

A man's voice claiming to be Stats Can, with a case #. He wanted energy usage for the building, but I am a tenant, and never received a package in the mail last month. I did call back and left a message saying I never received any mail from them, the info they want should be solicited from the superintendent.
