I received a call from them today. IT said if I take a survey I will "win" a "free" 2 day cruise. The message also said I would be r3esponisble for all taxes and fees. I could opt out form anymore calls by pressing 9.
I'm on the DNC registry also. Amazingly...as soon as I put my number on that list..ive been getting MASSIVE random calls from unknown numbers from other states about nonsense. I never answer them, but as soon as I google the number..I find out that its all TRASH! This is insane! I feel like putting your info on that registry is a hoax and allowing all these people to call and harrass you. HORRIBLE!
I just got this phone two weeks ago. I am using it (a cell) as a business phone. Funny thing is, they called my business phone #, but NOT my personal phone #. I receive these calls all the time. I have to answer the phone because of the business, but, IF it's a SCAM or they breathe & then hang up, let them call again! I'll have a whistle or air horn ready so that when I answer it, I'll blow the air horn into the phone, and blow their ear drums out. In 17 seconds, I could do some serious messing with their heads so they would never call me again. LOL Or, I will say, HI! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOUR CALL! Give them some schpiel about how we're looking for a stolen car or something & we heard that the police are hot on his/her tail...that they KNOW it was them...and just build it up to where they'll NEVER call you again. LOLOLOL
I've gotten multiple calls from these jerks in the last few weeks. It claims to be a political poll, but then talks about a 2-day cruise.
Political call; promised that I would get a free trip to Bahamas after taking survery. Answered one question then hung up.
I didnt answer but figured it was a sales call or somethin.. But in reading the comments.. I'm more baffled by the number of people without texting plans in 2012.
