If you call the number back it says the political pool is now closed, but hit one to be removed from any other political calls moving forward.... I did it once before under a different number and it seemed to work... So I'm hoping this one will work too.
they just called my cell (I only give out that number to a select few) - I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message... phone number is registered with do not call list... big difference that makes!

OR maybe they know the public quickly gets wise to them via sites like these and stops answering.Either way, I pick up and hang up immediately, quietly, without answering, to break the calls and keep my answering machine from picking up. That seems to cut down on the repeat calls from these numbers, at least, although I still get every 'new' number that comes along - at least once. I might 'miss' a call this way, but 99.9% of the time, I find the number on these sites, anyway.And I will be reporting to the DNC List, as that seems to keep the THIEVES scrambling to find new numbers and gives me a few days peace in between.And WhoCallsMe, you need a new category for Call Type: SCAMMER/SPAMMER.
I received a call on my magic jack phone with a wav file. No words just water sounds like from a running stream.
Received call and ID said "Out of area" tracked it to this number .... I do not answer these bogus calls...and... I am on the do not call list....Wonder who runs the "do not call list" ...the goverment?

Received a call from this number and an indian guy proceeded to tell me that they have just received allegations against me in their office and that either I or my attorney need to return the call. don't think i will be returning the call

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.

Evidently gets next if kin names from obituaries and calls them all, over and over. Will not say what they are calling about until you give birthdate and ssn of the deceased.
