This is the third call in as many days from this phone number; I am on the national and state do not call list & I do not want to receive these calls ever, at all.

I have received multiple unwanted calls from this number. On a number of occasions there was no one on the other side when I answered my phone. There was no response when called back.

Missed calls, or do not say anything, from 843-619-7688Every now and then different colleciton agencies call looking for a Michael Brown - every time they call I explain that they DO NOT have the correct # for that person and to take me off the list. They swear they do take me off the list, and then sure enough a couple months later someone else calls from a different # and once enough time passes its recycled through the same agencies/#s. I have threatened reporting them to the FCC, calls will stop and then start up again, and I keep going through the process. Either this guy Michael Brown gave a fake #, or someone fat fingered somewhere, or he had my # before I got in 2004 via Verizon Wireless. Also, although my verizon account started as a personal cell # - I have transfered it to a corporate account through the company I work for, and that still doesn't stop the calls when I explain that as well.

Don't know or care WHO it was - "Unknown Name"s never get answered. But this was VERY interestingI I received this call tonight and my answering machine is set to off (I sit there and laugh while it rings...wasting their time!). While I was LOOKING at the Caller ID the number changed from 843-619-7608 to 843-619-7688! In any case, will never be answered; doesn't bother me in the least to hear a ringing phone knowing maybe one less person will be bothered! :o)

they did not leave a message, but I know no one in south Carolina so it must be some kind of telemarketing call.

Called my cell phone. No one on other line. My phone is on the Do Not call List.

I am not sure about Verizon, but I have AT&T. I called them and requested that they stop any texts from coming at all so I would not be billed. They did so and I have not gotten any texts. Keep in mind though that this will stop ANY AND ALL texts from coming in. Hope that helps.

By the way, the Do Not Call list seems to be a joke. I have sent them complaints for all the spammers that call me. The calls continue from the same numbers that have been calling me for months. Nothing seems to be done at all. I have blocked the numbers, but as many have said before...they just call from another number. I may have a lead on where they get your number for the harassment. I signed up for a free drawing at the Auto Show that makes its way around the United States, and the calls started shortly after. I didn't make the connection between the two until I spoke with my daughter about the problem. She claims to have begun receiving calls after she signed up too. Coincidence? Maybe, but be very careful about who gets your number because the vermin are out there waiting.

Got one this morning and didn't leave a message. I am on the Do Not Call list :-( What's going on with that?
