Called my cellphone, Mr Number (android app) worked its magic. It picked up the call and hung it up immediately as "suspected spam" shows its a political survey. Very annoying.
This 'take a survey, win a free cruise' robocall is a SCAM. Do not fall for it. Immediately report it to www.donotcall.gov.Do not give these crooks your credit card number to "hold your reservation." The small fees are not small. They are also not refundable.I don't know if it's a cruise line or a travel agency behind this scam, but they are spoofing the Caller ID information that we see and are using dozens of different phone numbers (which makes it more difficult for them to be caught).Report them anyway, each and every time, to www.donotcall.gov.
Call showed on caller ID as "Out of Area", with the number but no other information. Leaves no message if I do not answer.
Go to walmart, buy whatever phone you want, purchase the $45 per month unlimited text,talk and web card and rid yourself of the hassle of all of it. You can talk all ya want, text all ya want, surf all ya want and ignore everyone you dont care about. With a no contract phone, they can call all they want to, and text you and you dont have to worry about it. Personally, I think the cell companies are doing this themselves. I think the owners start up companies on the side that call the lists of numbers they have in their repository adn send them messages text all that, so they can collect fees.Totally easy.
They think they are smart to have the number even used as the name calling. One more reason not to answer. When will they stop? Our government needs to do something to them. How stupid they are to think people will buy from them when they use stupid tactics to fool you to answer.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.

Evidently gets next if kin names from obituaries and calls them all, over and over. Will not say what they are calling about until you give birthdate and ssn of the deceased.
