Got a call on my cell through ATT. Didn't answer the call - don't answer any numbers I don't know. I called it back on a land line two times... the first time I got the recording that says "You have reached a number that has been disconnected............) The second time it was a fast busy signal. So not sure what is going on, but I agree with some of you who are predicting Aliens...LOL
got a call from this number .... answered it and it was some junk in some language like spanish

Oh I get it, when you press 1 they set up some kind of hidden forwarding so they can use your number as a ghost number to call people. They use this ever expanding net of phone numbers to continue the marketing and sell the lists to other companies who do more marketing, etc. Pretty slick. I wonder how they do it, and how to stop it.
I got this call about 30 minutes ago, during my Finals! well i quickly hit the reject button and attempted to call back but like everyone here i was met with a busy signal. And why spanish? Seems odd(and a little sad to be honest >.>), maybe its a telemarketing test on their part to see how many spanish speaking people will be conned into it.Also, I googled this as well, and I for one, accept our Google Overlords.
