Caller ID indicates Performant supposedly a debt collector for IRS but could be a spoofed scam call as well, since the number DOES NOT MATCH the number posted at IRS. SCAMMERS pretend to be anything they can think of these days.

Have received several calls from this number, they never leave a voicemail. I'm now going to block the number as I've read all the previous comments about this being an IRS scam. So glad I found this site to check phone numbers.
