LEGITIMATE. I received a voicemail from this number, indicating they were with Comcast and were calling about service issues with my internet. I called Comcast (using their 1-800 number on the website) and they confirmed it was legit. Comcast runs periodic checks on their services. If any issues are detected, they reach out to the customers in the affected area.

I have received calls from one number and the voice mail says to call the 844 number claiming I have something wrong with my Internet. My Internet has been working great.

This number is real I just called Comcast and there is an issue in my area. They said that it is a legit site.

Received call from an man with a foreign accent to advised of Internet problems and wanted to check my system. Too suspicious for me. Told him I would call Comcast and check it out, but not today. He furnished two phone numbers 800-266-2278 and THIS 844-482-6747. I will be calling Comcast on this.

I have been getting these calls for a month. Both from 844-482-6747 and from a Framingham, MA phone number. I have contacted Comcast directly - BOTH by phone and in-person to the local Xfinity store and they indicate that these calls are NOT from Comcast ! be careful when you call back or answer this call - if they ask you to verify your address and the last 4-digits of your SSN...... they make it sound like the yare "verifying" but since this is NOT Comcast - you just gave the last four digits of your SSN to who-knows-who...that's one piece of identity theft

I stopped into local service center in person and they showed me the records on their system. They told me this is spam (worse yet - it's phishing if you give this caller your address and last 4-digits of your social when you call) and to ignore.
