One step further....Comcast told me to BLOCK this phone number

Scam scam scam do not answer numbers u do not know ladies and gents

I actually had called a while ago because of problems with internet speed, so I tought they were following up on my issues. He tells me to tighten the cords and how it could be an external problem effecting my neighbors as well and they wanted to send someone to my house to check it out I questioned him a bit but ended up hanging up. They called from a different number and then after I hung up that same number called back and left a voicemail saying to call this number that I googled since. Nothing came up on a search for the first number.

Indian woman saying my Comcast would stop working after 32 days. Suspecting it was a scam, I hung up to research further. No good info here. I better call Comcast.

Called COMCAST main support number. Call from (844) 482-6747 about my possible service issue was legit, not fraudulent. I am having intermittent issues and they saw it. Service tech already scheduled for visit.

I just spent twenty minutes on Xfinity's chat support page. The customer rep there confirmed that the 844-482-6747 number is a legitimate Comcast number. I pointed out to her that (1) it would help a lot if the number came up on CallerID as a Comcast number, and (2) there's a substantial dispute online about the legitimacy of that number, which has been going on for several years. This seems like an issue they would want to resolve.

Lady with an indian accent kept saying she couldn't hear me properly.

It's comcast cable regarding possible service interruptions

FRAUD. Called Comcast and they verified.

These people call every day and say they are comcast and say there is problems with my service which I cannot see any problem. The woman has a heavy accent.,
