Woman identified herself as" Jennifer" with a heavy accent and said Comcast was having issues with internet speed and did I have a few minutes to help her correct the problem. I'm not having issues with my internet and suspected a scam of some sort. Wish I'd have played along for awhile to find out what she wanted to know so I could have threatened to provide her name to the FBI.

Guy with a heavy indian accent saying that there was a problem with my internet speed. Obviously I haven't had any problems on my end and I was on my way to work so I didn't have time to deal with him. Told me to call back tomorrow between 8am-8pm.

I called Comcast and verified that this was legitimate. They want to come out and see why you do not have a steady internet connection.

Just received a call on my cell phone. Didn't recognize the number, but I was waiting for a call back about a possible job opportunity, so I answered. After a long pause a man with Indian accent said something about Comcast. I just hung up and blocked number.

Getting calls from this number saying they are Comcast and they need to work with me because they see my internet speed is slow, and soon I would have service interruptions.

I will second Lyndsy's post in saying that this seems legit. I called Comcast using the main support number, provided on their side to report the suspicious voicemail, and they confirmed that a possible issue with signal "leakage" was detected, and would be sending someone out soon to investigate the problem.Worst case scenario: call the telephone number provided by Comcast on their support site. I can't believe I'm giving Kudos to Comcast for noticing a possible issue before I did!

Got the same call today.. that my internet connections have some issues detected, she instructed me to tightened my connections which I did, thenshe told me there is still an issue with my internet which I don't. I told her, DON'T BOTHER ME and hanged up.

Getting calls from this number claiming to be Comcast checking on multiple problems with my account. This about a week after two legitimate-seeming techs (had comcast ID badges) were here for that reason and replaced a cable.

Just received another recorded message indicating that I had an open service order with Comcast and that if I didn't call back I would be experiencing problems with my internet service. Called the Xfinity/Comcast number listed on my monthly invoice. They confirmed that this is NOT COMCAST! If in doubt call the number on your monthly bill but do not call this number back!

Received a call today from this number. It came in on my Iphone as "Suspected Spam," so I blocked it. Did not leave a voicemail.
