844-866-3730. They call daily claiming they want to go over my medicine list for Express Scrips/Medicare. I have notified Express Scrips and Medicare and neither have authorized this call. Furthermore, this is confidential information and they can not release this information. Medicare has reported this as a fraud.
The phone number belongs to a company named SinfoniaRx. They work with Medicare Part D Plan Provider Express Scripts and quite likely other Part D providers. They have a program where they have a 'pharmacist' call you to 'review' your medications, try to get you off the more expensive medications in exchange for cheaper medications, and then they will try to get you to use their mail-order pharmacy, so they can make even more money. They do this all under the guise of trying to help you not to take the wrong medications--yeah and please have the people who sell bridges call me next! Personally, I prefer my doctor with an "M.D." behind his name, reviewing my medications.SinfoniaRx dotcom is the company, their primary phone number is 844-866-3735 (only the last digit is different).
These idiots keep calling. The fact that their name is medication management makes me wonder if they are related to credit card services. You know, the credit card scammers?!?
They never once tried to sell me anything. They send a letter regarding their program and only assist with medication reviews. You are probably getting confused with your plan with Express Scripts who handles and dispenses your medications.. Lastly, pharmacists (with PharmD) go to school to gain experience in medications e.g courses in pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and therapeutics. Primary doctors i.e. those with the MD may only get a few courses in pharmacology. Why can't both work together to reduce the risk of drug errors and safety problems?
While I respect the training a pharmacist receives, there are not sitting with me every few months asking background questions, understanding my complete medical history and carefully listening to my issues/concerns/fears etc. I deal with an excellent pharmacist at my local pharmacy; however, she is the first to recommend that I discuss in-depth questions first.
When this company calls they tell you that they are Express Scripts when they should tell you that they are SinfoniaRx. This is bogus. They should tell you that they are calling on behalf of ES. They are a 3rd party marketing company that does not have anything to do with Medicare. You have to watch these people that do this when they call. It is just like 3rd party people selling you there products. EX, gas and electric companies that the elderly are getting hit with these scams and taking advantage of
WRONG! They are contracted by the plans the members already have to provide a MEDICARE required service. So yes, they do work with Medicare Part D drug plans. They have a copy of your prescription list and can tell you which pharmacy you use, doctors you see - But first, they require the person to verify HIPAA, which is a LAW they must follow/abide by.
