Sweepstakes, I won a car ! Scammers almost every day, I wish I had their personal phone number so I could call them up and bother them on THEIR time ! So much for being on the DO NOT CALL LIST !
I got the same calls from the same scammers too, T Mobile does NOTHING and my phone can only block 30 of these shysters.
a man called Dave, left a message that I had entered a contest to win a SUV etc, etc. I never would entered such a contest. He left the number to be called back, I did not.
Same message but the caller was Alex and he gave an 888 toll free number to call with his extension. I called it back on a Friday, but got a busy tone... Odd, but thought maybe it was an end of the workday thing, so I was going to try again, but wanted to do another scam check. I have actually entered sweepstakes, but thought it was odd that the message was so general... Glad this website exists so I could determine the scam for sure!
Voice mail - no name. The beginning was cut off and then said, "...is either from local shopping or an event you may have attended. I have excellent news for you! Your entry has been selected. Please press 1 to speak with one of our prize representatives or press 2 to be placed on our DNC list."
I received my call from Alex. Same message as everyone else. My entry was selected as the winner of a 2016 SUV or $25K cash for the Win a Car Sweepstakes that I filled out either through local shopping or an event I attended. Call back at 888-262-9051 ext.392. I did some research which suggested goggling the number that called and came across this site. No surprise to find all the other complaints and exact same messages. You should definitely add SCAM to your call type list.

I called Frontiers official phone number 1-800-921-8105, the agent I spoke to gave me this scammer number, they pretend to be frontier and offer a rebate and ask you to provide your bank account info to “send” the rebate. I hung up
