This caller calls almost every day. He either hangs up or says he is Security. Says nothing else. I am tired of this daily phone call and looking it up a lot of people have the same problem.

It's known as Caller ID Spoofing, wherein you provide false Caller ID details to be displayed on the receiving end of the call.

I just installed my phone. No one has it and i recieved a callfrom this number that i dont know, before i received a private number and they offered a free alarm and asked if i was alone....i hung up. definitely will change my number without using it

I have this number blocked so they can't get thru but they keep trying over and over. Must be a robo call or a friggin idiot. ANNOYING

You're a "lawyer", and yet the best you feel compelled to do is comment here asking the FCC to put a stop to something they have no control over as its VoIP with caller ID spoofing. What do you want them to do? They can't take action for DNC violations unless law enforcement agencies are reviewing a case. But since the vast majority of states don't have the funding for police to look into such things as phone scams unless someone is actually able to show themselves as being hit with financial losses from identity fraud (such as stolen credit card or bank account info), there's nothing they can do.Also, you REALLY have no clue what Caller ID Spoofing is and how it's done, do you? Your "research" would be laughed out of court on any given day.

This number has called me 10X TODAY!!!!!!!!!! Comes up as Kevin Catalano. Nobody on the other end. How do I report him??? This has been going on for 3 days now...

Caller goes by the name Jonathan. Keeps calling repeatedly and claims to be selling ADT Security Systems.

Been getting several calls from this number day after day. No message ever left.

This number 847-384-9954 called on7/16 @10:47a.m. & again today 7/22 @11:00 am. When I pick up the caller hangs up.I have blocked this number with my phone company otherwise they will keep calling. You can also register on the DoNotCallRegistry and register your telephone number.Anytime you give your telephone number e.g. shopping or ID. the next day I receive all sorts of calls from vendors or solicitors. What we must do is make a petition for the credit card consumers or banks to stop sharing our information with third party vendors.I always call each credit card or bank and ask that they do not share my information. There is no charge for this.This works well as you will see the calls from vendors or solicitation decline.
