Have received several calls from 850-237-4859. I click on '1' and a live representative answers. When I try to tell them that I do not have a credit card and to please take me off their list, they very rudely hang up. I have added my number to the do not call registry, however, this call seems to keep coming. I tried calling the number back, but it says that the line is disconnected. How can someone place a call from a disconnected line? How in the heck is that possible? It's scary.
I have a contact in my phone called interest rate BS. That contact goes straight to voice-mail. I add all those numbers to that contact.
The FTC recommends never pressing 1 or asking them to not call (sometimes available as an option if you call the number back) for the same reason that you would not click "unsubscribe" in a spam email. Remember that although you give them bogus info, they still have your real phone number.
These people are worthless pieces! They are always calling my cell phone which is on the Do Not Call List! The calls come from this number and many others. Your only option is to just hang up when you receive the call or push 1 to speak with someone. Every single time I've spoken with them and have asked to be removed from their list, they just hang up on me. They don't abide by the Do Not Call rules. They are disrespectful. They are trying to get your credit card information. I've tried reporting them to the Do Not Call website, but nothing ever happens. They just continue to call. My only saving grace is Verizon allows you to block numbers so I have to continually block various numbers.

I called the Chase number on the back of my card and they said they had NOT called me, said it was scammers. I had two calls on my machine asking me to call them back.
