I get called by this company 3 times a week. Its hard to block all of their numbers because our bought and paid for service providers only allow you to block 5 numbers. Pretty sad that we can deal with this issue. How hard is it really to arrest someone who is obviously being fraudulent? Easy to prove, open and shut case... How much money are people making by NOT prosecuting?
So the people who can easily handle this type of fraud, but are paid off not to, should eventually be arrested for contributing to this fraud.. Seems like Florida is becoming the land of telemarketing scams. But lets continue to raise prices on the consumer for innocently trying to use their service. Providers need to work with the attorney generals and deal with this crap. This is why most people are loosing respect for service providers and our legal system. Can't even deal with fraud, but take away the rights of the poor an innocent is ok...
Just got a call from this number too. Yeah, Florida is the epicenter of online marketing scams and spam ops, and O?rlando in particular. Been that way since the late 90's at least.
got robocall on my cell from 850-237-4859 caller ID said "NO NAME" on Thursday 01-16-14 @ 918 AM.Was not able to answer call. From other comments appears to be a Credit Card Services SCAM call.
These [***] have been calling me regularly over the past couple of months from different damn numbers. At first, I completely ignored them, hoping they would go away. But like the crusty, pain-in-the-[***] disease on society they are, they just kept coming. So I listened through the whole idiotic recording and pressed "2" at the end to remove myself from their list, as the robo-call instructed. Not surprisingly, this didn't work after 3-4 attempts. So finally, having enough, I pressed "1" to talk to someone. The first time, I calmly played along until they came to the part where, to reduce your credit card interest, you had to have $3,000 + outstanding debt on your card. I could not play along any further because that is such an obnoxiously, idiotic sentiment. When I called them on its stupidity, they hung up.And so the calls continued. I would keep pressing "1" to talk to a person. Then in a truly calm manner, (I'm good at reigning my anger in when needed), I informed them that I am not interested and would like my name taken off their call list. But being the annoying, waste of life they are, they instantly hung up as soon as I started saying "not interested." Then, of course, they continued calling. Since then, I've tried varying my strategies: from openly letting my anger be known, to playing along as far as I can, to threatening to report them to the FCC (which I do, and it hasn't made a difference), to even trying to explain what the value to THEM is not to call me... All no dice.In conclusion, these are lowly, worthless, scamming pieces of [***]. They really can't be any more obvious with their hair-brained scam, and I await the day they finally get what's coming to them. I genuinely try not to wish the worst on people I don't know, because I don't know their life story and certainly don't know what goes through their minds to lead them to make the decisions they make. But goddamnit, I am so annoyed with getting their [***] calls almost every day, that I find myself wishing all the horrible luck imaginable on these idiots. May life be ever NOT in their favor.
