My wife has been receiving multiple calls from this number all harrassing and claiming everything that everyone else has said: fraudulent acts, collection of debt on a pay day loan, etc. I've called back with call block on my cell phone. They will NEVER give any detailed information as to what company they were contracted by. Debt collectors MUST identify themselves, who the debt is for, amount, etc.; never claim arrest for lack of compliance. As all above have stated, this is a total phone scam. Most calls seem to originate in the US but the delay and static of call show possible re-routing to over seas; caller seems to have a strong African accent. If have called blocked my cell phone and am now calling them EVERY day, Every hour to harrass them:) Oh what fun!!

These foreigners have been calling my phone for weeks now and when they call they give these really common names like neil smith or mike johnson and they told me that i recieved a loan through an internet website and when the company went to collect on the loan that the funds werent available so now they were prosecuting me and that i would have to pay excess fees and court cost, unless i just made a payment to them now over the phone..total scam.. the only thing convincing is that they did have a lot of my info such as ssn, email address, and i believe that one of them even qouted me my account number...the only way i think they got my info was by the internet somehow so i would just recommend that all sites are secure when you make purchases via the internet..they are extremely rude though and if you hang up they will call back at least 7 times..

He has called at least 10 - 12 times after being told not to call here anymore. He was looking for my husband and I told him he wasn't home when i hung up on him he continued to call repeatedly until I finally quit answering the phone. He said his name was officer James White and his call back number was 904-239-3968. He had a very deep foreign accent so I know his name was not James White. He had my husbands ss# and the bank we use. He said there was a lawsuit against my husband and he was from the federal bureau of investigations.

I have pretty much the same story as everyone else here. A friend put my name down as a reference on a loan application, which is how they got my name. And now they are saying because of that, that my name is being used in fraudulent and criminal purposes. I called my local police and the FBI and was told not to worry about it. I've told them not to call anymore, but of course they still do. I even lost my temper with the guy and screamed at him that he was the one committing a crime against me and that I will press charges at which point he hung up, only to call me again the next day. Since all of us are fed up and don't know what else to do, I propose having some fun with these jerks. Stuff like, answering the phone singing as loudly and as badly and as drunk sounding as you can make it, Louis Louis is always a good one. Maybe burping into the phone. When they call, answer but don't talk to them, instead stay silent, or if there others around make comments about how stupid these people are, and make them the butt of jokes. Finally, challenge them to take you to court. If we can get the cockroaches into the light of day we might be able to sue them, and press charges against them and finally squash them.

I too got the call from a guy named RYAN SMITH and he said that he's from the FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION. He left me a nasty voicemail at home about some fraudulent activities. Don't these people have better things to do??
