yeah this [***] called me and its a scam about my friend owes money from a loan from two days ago. if this number calls you do not call them back and give them ANY info. [the chances are they have your info anyway] but be wary!

ya this jerk calls saying ive commited fraud and im going to be sued over a loan I owed some co called Crown Lending? this jerk calls my friends tells them the same thing. he had all my personal information.. scary. ofcourse they demand me to pay 675 the same day or go to court. I reported them to the FBI. total scam, BECAREFUL!

This fools will call you and constantly change their numbers and their names, but don't volunteer any information even if they may know your dont tell them anything about yourself. And mostly don't give them any account information either. They are scams artist. Report them to your local law enforcement, FTC, and your attorney general. The problem is by the time they investigate, these folks will be gone. They will keep on bothing people until they get money. Its a shame.

Yes, these sob's have been calling me for the last week telling me that I own 798 for a payday loan from 2006. And that I'm going to go to prison for 2 years, being charged with fraud and will have to pay back 10,000. They also call me from a NY number, an unavailable number, and a local number...

this extremely foreign man called me this am left me a vm on my cell phone that INCLUDED my SS#. I knew immediately it was a fraud but he said he was with the US Federal Bureau of Investigations. He had all kinds of information about me but thank God it was my cell number as the message he left had my whole ss number on it. I am going to the police with this and will call all the places you all have stated as well. thanks for your blogs on this man. Oh yeah he said his name is Ryan Smith and believe me he was NO Ryan Smith. I could barely understand him.

I have also been receiving these, it started with a number of: 646-918-5212 then this week it is: 851-322-8600I have reported to the FTC and my State Attrny General..but don't know what else to do.

I got my first call Monday 3/23/2009 in the am on my cell phone while I was at work so they left 3 voice mails. They said I had 3 federal counts against me and I had to get matter resolved by 3:30 that afternoon they were going to proceed with legal action. They said that I got a loan for $250 that was electronically transferred into my bank account on Nov 20, 2008. I told the guy(who by the way barely spoke English)that did not take a loan out and I told him I would call my bank and get proof that there was not any money transferred into my account on that day or even the months and days surrounding. He told me I needed to get a lawyer if i was not going to pay. The number he called from was 851-322-8600 and the number he gave me to call was 347-404-5046. Any way I went to the police and the officer called the number to try to get them to fax what ever information they had about the debt I was supposed to owe. They would not give him anything but the run around. The officer told me not to worry about that it was clearly a scam. Well today at 10:30 am they called my work and left a message for me to call and they also left me a voice mail saying I had to call before 11am or they could not help me. Well I called at my lunch which was 11:30am and they told me I needed to pay this debt or they would take me to court. This time they had my full ssn and my bank account info. I told them that I did not owe this money and I never took out this supposed payday loan and he said well I will see you in court. This is a big scam and all they want to do is scare you into giving them money. The names of the people who I talked to were Jonathan Laster,Nick,John(who said he was Nick's supervisor).The numbers were347-404-5046646-918-5212851-322-8600

OMG!!! These people just called me 5 times in the last 10 minutes! Thank goodness I looked them up while I was still on the phone with them. I called the FBI and they told me to report it to the BBB and FTC. How did these F**kers get my cell phone number?? And the person whose nme they said commited a fruad with my name and social security number has only put my name down as a reference for a payday cash advance loan. Do you think that's how they got the number??

this guy has been calling us for a week telling us my daugher owes money and we have to pay it cause we are enableing fraud if we dont. We block one number but now he calls from this one. He wont give up.. Wants a credit card over the phone from my daugher, wont accept payment any other way.. Says we are all going to court now because we owe.. Gave us a fake court date and case number. How do you stop this crazy nut..

I got a call from 851-322-8600 to my cell phone. I answered to hear a foriegn speaking male. I kept saying hello...and they were like hello...can you hear me. I disconnected the call. I googled the number and got this page. I thought that I would put my two cents in here after reading what everyone had to say concerning the matter. I am displeased with the fact that some unknown people are geting my cell phone number. I under a great assumption that if we placed our cell phone numbers on any sort of do not call list, that is how these people got our numbers. I believe that yes they are trying to scam us all out of money. For I know that I have not taken out any sort of loans of any kind.
