....no one should give out sensitive personal information unless they have called their bank or the number on the back of their card! Spoofers can call and make it look like they're calling from your financial institution - don't post unless YOU have all the facts!

Received call from this number. Could not understand the female who called, sounded like she was speaking a foreign language. Because of previous remarks here, I called the number and it is legitimate. I registered a complaint about the person who called.

Number is legitimate B of A fraud number. Like many others, received call from this number but called customer service # on back of card. At end of call, agent voluntarily referred to this number as a number I could call in the future.

For all the people saying that is a legit number. It is not legit. My only BOA credit card is a business card and I got this call to my work line when I dialed it and heard it was Bank of America I hung up searched his number saw the comments. I then called the number on the back of my card and spoke to the real Bank of America. They assumed me there was no issue with my card and that the number that called me was fradulant.

I believe this is a real BoA number; I received a text and phone call about a transaction I made (I had in fact made it). Though I was a bit unnerved being asked about verification information, which led me to search after the fact. In the end, they were able to confirm a few other transactions I made on the account after the fact. So, either my account is truly compromised and scammers have access to my transaction history...or it's a BoA representative with access to my account information. I'd like to believe the latter...Though I probably should have taken a bit more precaution prior to calling them back. My only wonder is why this number isn't listed on their site anywhere ...

I followed up with a call to the number on the back of my CC and they were able to confirm it is one of the numbers of the fraud department.

I received a call from the 18552550613.. the questions they asked were suspect.. bank balance and license number. Please be cautious not to answer these questions! It is FRAUD!

cmon........you know its not fraud, you called back and they attempted to verify. outbound calls doesnt verify identity....... just verify if you made charges
