855-502-7867 is a standard call-back number for Blackboard Messaging, a call-out software used by schools to send messages to parents - which is used by MULTIPLE schools, so the caller/message may vary per call.In my case, the call was actually sent out from a Palm Beach County school exchange number: 561-494-1200, and the call was legitimate for parents from that school district - EXCEPT I don't have a child in that district nor live there.

Received 4 calls from this number on different days. Voicemail is cut off except for the telephone number. The caller id says it is the village the that I live in, Norridge, Illinois. This is maddening and I am going to contact Norridge and see what they know about it. I have no children in the school district.

Caller is comes as the name of my local township, which is wrong. Reporting to FTC

I thought it would be a spam call. I didn’t answer, but listened to the voicemail. It was my child’s superintendent saying school would be releasing early today due to weather.

This phone number is STB the origin of at least two calls to me.....it seemed to be some sort of emergency call as per the voice mail....search on net yields it to be from an Alabama college......weird.....

This number called about county employees open enrollment. No one in this house was ever a county employee.They gave a local number to call to opt out. Will contact the county to see if it is a legitimate number.Seems like a scam!

Just received a call and voicemail from this number. It was in fact a call from our superintendents office letting us know about a meeting tonight.

I received a message that had this telephone number at the end of the message stating they were our local police department and that they were looking for a 60 year old man who is unable to care for himself and it went on to give a description of the man and to please call 911 if I saw him, yet the telephone number in my call list was from a private citizen. Then at the end of the call it said something about I could opt out of receiving these types of calls.
